Heritage Day

Come out to Heritage Day, the annual fall celebration at Fischer Farm, where families and history lovers can explore the buildings, touch the artifacts, and connect with history.  Fischer Farm in Bensenville holds a community-wide celebration of the fall season and local history. Admission and parking are free.  A $5 wristband available at Fischer Farm on day of event will get your child, under twelve years old, one pumpkin (while supplies last), pony rides, and unlimited access to the petting zoo. Outdoor picnic food and beverage favorites are available for purchase. In its second year will be a pig roast; tasty pulled pork sandwiches will be on the menu along with burgers, bratwurst, hot dogs and more. In the case of inclement weather this event will be held on Saturday, October 24.

- Petting Zoo & Pony Rides
- Arts & Crafts
- Keith Baumann & The Hard Times Bluegrass Band
- Spinning Wheel & Weaving Demos
- Rug Braiding
- Taylors Battery & Colonial Militia Reenactors
- Hamilton’s Battery & Soldiers of the 7th New Jersey Continental Army
- The Firing of the Cannon on the Hour
