Join Lake Katherine for one of our family astronomy nights as we open your eyes to the night sky with astronomer Joseph Mayer of the Chicago Astronomical Society. Outdoor viewing will take place in our Anniversary Garden as we use telescopes to look at various planets and the first phase of the moon. This is a free event with donations accepted. No need to preregister - just turn up! If it is cloudy, raining and/or snowing, the event will be cancelled. If you want assistance with setting up or operating a telescope, please come a half-hour early.
