Free Admission
Admission is free for Illinois residents on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day and every Free Winter Weekday (January 4–February 11). Remember, kids under 14 are always free—every day of the year. It’s the best museum deal in town!

Kid-Friendly Eats 
The Museum Café offers a host of healthy options for visitors of all ages, but our special kids menu is designed to cater to the distinctive tastes of our youngest visitors—with peanut butter and jelly, mac and cheese, pizza, and more!

From the Interactive Gallery to the Thorne Miniature Rooms to iconic works they're sure to recognize, the museum is full of kid-friendly treasures waiting to be discovered.
