Where You Go Is Not Who You’ll Be: An Antidote to the College Admissions Mania

Frank Bruni is a New York Times Op-Ed columnist and the author of three bestselling books. Where You Go Is Not Who You'll Be: An Antidote to the College Admissions Mania was published to rave reviews and garnered extensive media coverage. His career at the Times spans 20 years and includes stints as a White House correspondent, the chief restaurant critic, the Rome bureau chief, and a staff writer for the Sunday magazine. He came to the Times from The Detroit Free Press, where he was, alternately, a war correspondent, the chief movie critic, and a religion writer. In his Op-Ed columns, which appear every Sunday and Wednesday, he reflects on diverse topics, including, frequently, American politics, and higher education. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and of Columbia University, he lives in New York City. His book will be available for sale.
