12th Annual CineYouth Festival

Held May 5-7, 2016 at Columbia College Chicago (1104 South Wabash Avenue – 8th floor, Chicago, IL), CineYouth is FREE and open to the public of all ages!


Presented by Cinema/Chicago, CineYouth is the only film festival designed to showcase films made by the next generation of filmmakers (age 5-22) from Chicago and around the world. 

Thursday, May 5, 6 pm

Join us in celebrating Opening Night of the Chicago International Film Festival’s CineYouth Festival as we present the Chicago premiere of the magical, fantastical Nocturna. The film will be immediately followed by a delicious and fun-filled reception with cotton candy, hot dogs, a button making station and more! FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC OF ALL AGES! RSVP required.

Happy Hour - five sweet stores of laughter, love, fish and the afterlife.


Saturday, May 7

Kid Tested, Parent Approved – 11:00 AM

Bring the whole family to this program of Saturday morning cartoons, music videos and fun stories from across the United States and from our youngest filmmakers!
