Motivation: Revelations Plus Strategies for the Long Haul

  • May 12, 2016
  • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Online SENGinar

“Motivation” has become a buzz-word, one that’s often overused, bandied about, and even misunderstood. What is motivation? How can parents and teachers encourage and reinforce its development among children and teens? What strategies actually work on a consistent basis, and over time?

Dr. Joanne Foster addresses these and other important questions Thursday, May 12, 2016. Join us as she shares perspectives, understandings, and practical approaches, based on her books and on decades of experience working in the field of gifted education, thereby helping session participants make informed and sensible decisions in support of gifted/high-ability learners.
