Seining Class

  • July 09, 2016
  • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • CFC Headquarter's, Barrington

Citizens's for Conservation July Youth Education class will feature CFC's popular seining class, led by Tom Vanderpoel. The class will visit a local creek or lake to wade and capture fish using seines. (All creatures captured are released unharmed.) This is an exciting way to discover the amazing creatures living in local water systems.

The class is Saturday, July 9, from 1-4 p.m. and will meet at CFC's headquarters, 459 W. Highway 22, Lake Barrington. Class is open to children age 6 and above, and parents are required to attend. CFC members are free; nonmembers pay $5 for the first child and $1 for each additional child.

Registration forms can be found athttp://citizensforconservation.org/youth-education.
