LEGO Build Workshop: Willis Tower

Looking up at Chicago’s tallest skyscraper, you might wonder: “How can a building be so tall without falling over?” The Willis Tower is actually made up of nine towers “bundled” together to make it both strong and tall. Join us as we build tall and test the “bundled tube” method using LEGO® and other studio materials.



Price: $20 public, $15 CAF members


Meet:ArcelorMittal Design Studio @ CAF, 224 S. Michigan Ave.


Notes:

  • LEGO® Build Workshops are free for CPS students with valid ID and one accompanying adult.
  • Tickets for LEGO® Build Workshops may be purchased on the day of the event at the CAF box office.
  • Children under 13 must be accompanied throughout the workshop by a paying adult.
