Presidents' Day

Discover the lives behind the legends of the American presidency. Join us for live music, family crafts, and storytelling for kids. Special events include a performance by Chicago Brass Band and Meeting the Lincolns by With Lincoln Productions.


This year’s programming will feature orations by the winners of our Inspired by Lincoln speechwriting competition, which is open to students in grades 5 through 12.


Museum admission is FREE for Illinois residents on Commemorative Days! Special family-friendly activities and performances are designed to honor and celebrate significant moments and figures in history.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We  are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
