Talent Search courses are designed to provide the academic enrichment and acceleration critical to the development of gifted students. Students enrolled in grades 3 to 12 can participate in one of the leading programs of its kind in the country. COD's Talent Search program is offered in conjunction with Illinois Regional Office of Education, DuPage County.

College of DuPage Talent Search courses feature expanded opportunities in math, science, information technology, problem solving, literature, language and writing. Examples of some of our popular offerings are the Junior Speech Team, Speaking Confidently, and Robotic Technology classes.

Students scoring at the 95thpercentile or higher on standardized achievement testing (MAT, ACT, SAT, Iowa, EXPLORE, etc.) are eligible to apply. Students who believe they are qualified but who do not have an appropriate test score may petition for enrollment by calling the Talent Search office.
