Each week (or two) we will explore a different continent and the countries that are a part of it.  We will look at capitals, other major cities, landforms, rivers and bodies of water, as well as things unique to each of the countries.  We will also learn about two flags from countries on the continent of the week, including some flag history and fun facts.  We'll finish up each class with an art project based on the flags of the week.

There will be a final project due the last day of class: students will create their own country, choose the continent to which it belongs and design a flag. The last day of class will be for project presentations and a jeopardy-style geography trivia game.

Teachers: Marcello and Francesca Gaus Ehning

Minimum/maximum number of students: 3/10

Age range: 7+

Price: $20.50

Supplies required: Spiral notebook, pencils, colored pencils, crayons, markers
