Seining Illinois Creeks

  • July 08, 2017
  • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
  • Barrington
Elementary and high school students will wade and use nets to collect and identify aquatic life, including fish, insects, amphibians and other creatures.

The class, led by CFC's Tom Vanderpoel, is an exciting way to discover the amazing creatures living in local water systems. The class is open to children ages 6 and above. Parents are required to attend for elementary-age children. Class is free for CFC members; $5 for nonmembers.

We will carpool to the seining site from CFC Headquarters: 459 W Hwy 22 in Barrington, IL.
