Shakespeare and the Saint. Dr.Williams, the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, presents a "fantasia" on a meeting between young William Shakespeare and the Jesuit martyr, Edmund Campion. Set against the backdrop of the English reformation in 1581, we encounter two men: one who has found his calling, the other in search of his.
Artistic director Peter Garino directs a cast that includes: Lydia Berger Gray, Jack Hickey, Gary Houston, Peter Eli Johnson, John Kishline, Chris Landis, Bill McGough, Kim Richard Mowrey, Christopher Prentice and Grace Smith. Assistant director, Brynne Barnard. Music and sound by George Zahora. This performance is partially funded by McGill University, Montreal and the Niles-Maine District Library.
