Secrets of Homeschooling to College: Beyond the Transcript

What are the secrets to successfully homeschooling high schoolers for the future? How do you find programs, mentors, personal projects that help your teen take their deep interest to the nth degree?  This panel discussion will address when, why and how to take standardized tests (and which standardized tests);  how specialized summer programs can fuel a teen's passion; what are the opportunities offered by the cultural, artistic, scientific institutions in the Chicago metro area; when and how to take community college courses while a high school student, and how to develop interesting extra-curricular activities. Hear how veteran homeschool parents guided their teens through the high school years and helped them develop their unique education, personal projects,  and personally meaningful extra-curriculars which-- most importantly -- fed their souls and helped them become their Best Selves. (And, coincidentally,  impressed college admissions officers.)
