  • 2:10 PM - 3:20 PM
  • Central Skokie
  • 5

Registration is closed
I  will teach  the  basics  of  digital  art  (Lineart,  flat  colour,  etc.),  placement,  scale, and  character  development.  I  would  be  the  sole  instructor  of  this  class,  and  the  students  would work  in  groups.  I  would  like  to  provide  an  environment,  not  of  separate  art,  but  art  in  unison, meaning  we  would  have  some  group  projects  or  art  pieces.

Students  can either  bring  a  non-google-Chromebook  laptop  to  class  or  an  iPad.  For  laptops,  I recommend  the  program  called  Krita,  and  for  iPads,  I  recommend  an  app  called  Ibis  Paint  X. Both  are  free.

The  first  week  we  will focus  on  character  construction,  the  next  week  we  would  focus  on line art,  etc. The  aim  of  this  course  willbe  to  give  students  an  understanding  and  appreciation  for  digital art.

Teacher: Angelica Juarez

Minimum/maximum number of students: 4/7

Age range: 7-11

Supplies required: a digital device and software as listed above.

Family must register for LOGYC Coop in order to sign up for classes.
