Robie House Design Lab

Explore art, architecture, and design at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House. At Design Lab, families share in the creative process through active investigations, hands-on exploration, and art-making.


Visit each month for an engaging family-oriented tour of Robie House followed by a collaborative design program at Gordon Parks Hall, adjacent to the Robie House. Each month will feature a different design project. This program is FREE, but space is limited. Registration is required. All adults must be accompanied by a child.


Design Lab is a partnership program between the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust and the University of Chicago Laboratory School.

Time: 10 - 11:30 am
Location: Frederick C. Robie House, 5757 S. Woodlawn Ave., Chicago, IL
Admission: FREE. Registration is required.
