Let's meet and provide support to each other as we learn about and implement strategies to improve executive functioning skills.


Discover the physical and emotional components of executive functioning with the interactive book Smart but Scattered


We will have a mix of in-person and online interaction during this book study. There will be 4 in-person meetings and 4 weeks of asynchronous online interaction.

Wk 1: Introduction and Questionaires

Wk 2: Matching the child to the topic; Identifying areas to work on

Wk 3: 10 Priniciples of teaching/supporting EF

Wk 4: Ways to instill skills and modifying the environment

Wk 5: Motivating your child to learn and use executive skills

Wk 6: Success in designing a program to help your child

Wk 7: Daily routines

Wk 8: Specific areas of focus breakouts and conclusion
