Come join Ratika Dayaldasani for a mindfulness Yin-Vinyasa style class. This class will help all ages and abilities to relax at the end of the week of homeschooling!

Kelly's Pilates class will focus on body awareness, alignment and building strength.  She will give many modifications to allow you to simplify or progress exercises based on your ability level.

Bring your own mat to all classes - either a yoga mat or a thicker Pilates mat.  Also bring a hand towel or two to Pilates to help modify exercises as needed. 1 or 2 yoga blocks and a strap will be helpful for the Yoga class.

Roughly half of the weeks will be yoga and half will be Pilates. Ratika travels to India in the Fall, and as soon as those dates are set, we will notify you. That will determine which classes are Pilates and which are Yoga. Feel free to drop in for just one or the other - Yoga or Pilates!

Ratika is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with 8 years of yoga teaching experience, and currently teaches yoga at Northwestern University. Ratika likes to share the ancient tradition of yoga from her home country as a form of moving meditation, rather than how it has been culturally appropriated within the United States.

Kelly began pilates as a way to supplement her dance training.  She went on to become a certified Stott Pilates Instructor and has 15 years experience - 4 teaching group mat classes and 11 years as a private instructor using pilates equipment such as the reformer.
