This is a discussion-based extension of the fall semester of Anatomy & Physiology (which was lab-based). It will include all of the body systems. Students who did their research questions in the fall semester will have a reduced homework load. New students and those who did not do research in the fall should expect to spend approximately 3 hours/week on homework.

This is a year-long course. Fall was broken up into anatomy and physiology. The class time was spent mostly on labs with homework being research questions and lab reports. Students will be expected to commit to  1-3 hours of outside work which will include lab reports, research homework, online learning and optional quizzes. Students looking for a fully transcript-able year long Biology course can extend it through quizzes and a learning management system.

Teacher: Heather DeGeorge

Minimum/maximum number of students: 8/12

Age range: 12+

Price: $155 fall, $144.50 winter-spring (this is a year-long course)
