SENGinar: Elevate Critical Creative Thinking via Rigorous and Engaging Tech Integration

Ponder, problem solve and engage in the rigor and relevance of higher order thinking as we explore tech resources to inspire creativity and elevate thinking. Participants will go through questioning strategies and activities that can be used next day to move students to new thinking and meaningful application via these technology resources. Most resources being shared are free to use and explore. Thinking critically and creatively elevates students to the highest levels of Blooms. Applying new learning and thinking to real situations promotes understanding with sticking power.

The presenter is Julie Jaeger, Minot, ND educator and she currently serves on the Board of ND Association for Gifted Children and the ND ESSA Committee, is Co-chair of ISTE’s Digital StoryTelling Network (DSN) and is ND representative for FableVision League of Visionaries. She also provides numerous professional development sessions, state and national conference presentations and international webinars on a variety of topics. As a veteran elementary and middle school educator, technology integrator and gifted instructor, she enjoys bringing “a-ha” moments and higher order thinking opportunities to educators and students via Technology integration Differentiated instruction, Digital StoryTelling, and Curriculum Enrichment using Higher Order Thinking, problem solving and questioning strategies.

Registration for the event costs $20 for SENG members, $40 for non-members and all the registrants will have access to the recorded webinar. The deadline to register is June 16th at 5 pm EST/4pm CDT.  Please note the event starts at  7:30 EST/6:30 CDT.
