As we reflect on the beginnings of 2021, there is much hope that we finally are turning the corner on the pandemic. In this homestretch, how can we continue to support our children while we are running out of steam ourselves? How do we help them with their increased levels of anxiety, stress, and existential questioning, especially when their usual intensity seems to be even MORE these days?

Catherine Gruener, M.A., M.A., LCPC, NCC, PDTC is the author of Parenting Young Gifted Children, What to Expect When you Have the Unexpected.  She is a  frequent speaker in the gifted world including:  The Davidson Institute, Chicago Gifted Community Center, Illinois Association for Gifted Children, Quest Academy, The Science and Arts Academy, The Avery Coonley School, Social and Emotional Needs of Gifted, Parents of Gifted Education, and Community Organization for Gifted Children.
