WEATHER PERMITTING, THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE

Who said math can't be fun? Join Sarah Alexander for lots of fun, socially distanced math games ranging from creating pixel art from coordinates on a graph, to cracking codes using math skills, and even abandoning conventional math in order to create insane geometrical structures out of toilet paper! Plus, we will get to throw things.

Sarah Alexander is a certified (certifiable?) math nerd who plays with equations for fun. She sees math everywhere in the world (and places beyond), and loves to show people how cool math can be. "X" is one of her favorite numbers, second only to "i." And 42, of course.

Minimum/maximum number of students: 4/6

Age range: 6-9

Price: $ For this session, I am buying supplies as a gift to the class
