Travel and culture are near and dear to him. He has led 2e students to over seven countries for immersive cultural and educational trips. Mr. Young has also been featured in the documentary 2e2: Teaching The Twice Exceptional, the textbook Understanding The Social and Emotional Lives of Gifted Students, 2nd Ed., Variations Magazine, 2e News, and other publications.

Young Scholars Academy (YSA) is a virtual enrichment program that helps twice-exceptional students to feel seen, nurtured, confident, and happy as heck! YSA's primary focus is to empower students to develop their interests and talents so that they may lead meaningful, fulfilling lives and be the creative agents of change that our world desperately needs. The virtual enrichment center serves as a haven in which neuro-diverse kiddos can have their dual diagnoses (gifted behaviors and challenge areas) supported, developed, and on display for the world to see in all their glory!

YSA is our newest professional member,  please join us in welcoming them to our community of gifted learners and check out their course offerings.
