Have you read about the Higgs boson in the news? Want to find out what it is, if it’s been discovered at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland, and what it means for you? Come to Fermilab to learn about the Higgs particle and have your questions answered. The event includes a public lecture by Fermilab physicist Don Lincoln, followed by Q&A with scientists involved in Higgs-particle research. The event is free and open to the public, and no advance reservation is required.

• 1:45-3:00 Fermilab scientists available to answer your questions about the Higgs boson, the Large Hadron Collider and particle physics.

Visitors will also be able to access the 15th floor of Wilson Hall, including its science exhibits and view of the laboratory site and surrounding area.

No fee, grades 6 through adult.
