If you have a young son, daughter, grandchild or neighbor who likes birds (or you think MIGHT like birds) then please bring that child to the park!

Children at least 8 years old are welcome. Volunteers from the DuPage Birding Club will try their best to show the kids some colorful and interesting birds while providing a light introduction to a fascinating hobby.

A limited number of binoculars will be available for borrowing. Please bring a pair for your young guest if you can. Extra field guides will come in handy, too.

Our walk will begin from the Cantigny Park Visitors Center at 7:30 am and we'll go for about 90 minutes. Stay as long as you wish. For some kids, 30 minutes or an hour might be plenty. This is a free program and parking also is complimentary.
