Logan Center Family Saturdays

Logan Center Family Saturdays offer family-friendly matinee performances and interactive workshops (for ages 2-14) presented in partnership with local artists and arts organizations, academic departments, and student organizations.

 

All concerts 2-3 pm in the Logan Center Performance Hall. Tickets to concerts performances are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 3-17, and free for children under 3. All workshops will be held at the Logan Center and are free, though pre-registration is available.

Concert, 2 pm: Chicago Jazz Philharmonic presents excerpts from DuSable to Obama: Chicago's Black Metropolis, Co-presented by Chicago Jazz Philharmonic TICKETS

3 pm: The Play is the Thing! Acting Workshop with UChicago’s Theater & Performance Studies Program (ages 5-7)

Concert, 2 pm: Fulcrum Point New Music Project: AFRO BEATS, Co-presented by Fulcrum Point New Music Project TICKETS

3 pm: “Twinkle Stars” with Hyde Park Suzuki (ages 2-6)
3 pm: Step Right Up! Circus Skills with UChicago’s Theater & Performance Studies Program (ages 10-12)

 

SAT, APRIL 27
Workshops: (Free)
2 pm: First Steps with Hyde Park School of Dance (ages 3-5)
2 pm: Lego Animation Workshop (all ages)
3 pm: Camp DJ with Master Mix Academy (ages 8-14)
*No concert performance

 

SAT, MAY 4
Concert, 2 pm: Quintet Attacca presents Set the Score! TICKETS
Workshops: (Free)
3 pm: “Twinkle Stars” with Hyde Park Suzuki (ages 2-6)
3 pm: Makin’ a Scene! Improv Workshop with UChicago’s Theater & Performance Studies Program (ages 8-10)
