This presentation is exploring ways to work together with your child's teacher in providing the correct supports for the student.  We will review the strategy of "Kids do well if they could" and solving their lagging skills and unsolved problems.  Also creating a one page student profile and using their strengths to build confidence in the classroom.

Carole Jones the president of CGCC will be the presenter.  Carole founded SOS for 2e in 2011 and continues to advocate for children rights locally, statewide and nationally.  Currently in addition to servicing the CGCC board, she is a State Advocate for Lives in the Balance, Policy and Advocacy Committee for Illinois Association for Gifted Children and on Board of Directors for 708 Naperville Mental Health Board.  Carole's goal is to meet all learners' needs and support families so children can thrive and reach their potential.
