Maker's Club

  • June 01, 2013
  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • Nurturing Wisdom Academy, Hinsdale

Most people only try to copyedit the world,

Makers aim to design it!

Calling all makers, do-it-your self-ers, hackers, and generally creative people!  Come create with us at a Saturday Maker’s club.

  • We meet at Nurturing Wisdom Academy on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 1:00-3:00pm until June 15th.
  • This club is open to students in grades two through eight.
  • There is a small supply fee for students not enrolled at Nurturing Wisdom Academy.
  • An adult chaperone is provided.

Why be a maker?  Makers shape the world.  They learn to accept challenges with persistence.  They feel the joy of productive work and creating.  They feel that they can make an impact on their own world.  They learn to observe, understand, and fully participate in the world around them.

Those interested are welcome to join us for our last two meetings of the year:  June 1 and June 15.  Click here for details.  The club is planned to continue in the fall.
