Join the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Park District and Friends of the Chicago River, rain or shine for a day of celebration, music, and fun at Ping Tom Memorial Park on Sunday, June 9 for Shall We Gather at the River and the grand opening of the Chicago Park District's new Boat House.
Celebratory activities include fishing, kite flying, and exploring the river nearby with canoe guides as well as open air performances by a diverse array of performers including the Chicago Children's Choir and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Brass conducted by Music Director Riccardo Muti.

The Chicago Gifted Community Center (CGCC) is a member-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by parents to support the intellectual and emotional growth of gifted children and their families.

We are an all volunteer-based organization that relies on annual memberships from parents, professionals, and supporters to provide organizers with web site operations, a registration system, event insurance, background checks, etc.
