SparkTruck Workshops

  • July 21, 2013
  • DGN parking lot, Downers Grove

FRoG, in partnership with the help of the Village of Downers Grove, is offering a free children's maker movement workshop presented by SparkTruck.  SparkTruck is a project started by Stanford University students who were curious about making things, education, and technology. Essentially SparkTruck is an "education build-mobile," traveling around the country presenting workshops to kids.  For more information on SparkTruck, check out their website at http://sparktruck.org/

SparkTruck is coming to Downers Grove, courtesy of FRoG and the Village of Downers Grove.

The SparkTruck crew will be presenting 2 workshops:

* vibrobots for kids aged 8-12 11:00 am (lasts about 1 1/2 hours)

* lego robotics for kids aged 12-15 1:30 pm (lasts about 2 hours)

Kids can sign up to attend one of the workshops for free. Space is very limited, so if you want to be sure to get a spot, send an e-mail as soon as possible to membership@dgfrog.org.

A parent or gaurdian must be present with the child at all times during the workshop.
