Increase Rigor and Achievement for High Ability Students with Cluster Grouping

Presenter: Dina Brulles

Effective gifted cluster grouping requires careful planning, consistent support and continual teacher training. This Webinar provides a roadmap for implementing and sustaining a successful cluster-grouping model and methods for documenting growth. Learn to create balanced classes that enhance teacher efficacy, improve student performance, increase prospects for underserved populations, and open access to learning opportunities historically reserved for high-achieving gifted students. Participants explore methods for: planning, implementing, and evaluating the model; teaching in and managing the gifted cluster classroom; and expanding differentiated learning experiences to ALL students, setting the stage for continuous academic success for students at every level. Achievement studies for gifted and general education students—in cluster and regular classes—will be referenced.
