Cultivating Emotional Intelligence in Your Gifted Child

  • November 11, 2013
  • 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Multilingual Connections, Chicago
Want to help your high-potential child to thrive emotionally and socially as well as in his/her area of gifted-ness?

Once parents recognize and understand key underlying traits associated with a child's gifts they can begin to help their child channel those traits into productive life-enhancing skills.  It is key to unlocking emotional health and social growth.

This event is designed to help in that process - to lead you to changes that will enhance your child's emotional well being, mastery of life-skills, and relationship with you, making your life easier and more peaceful, while helping your child realize his or her potential.

Selections from Dr. James Webb's and Dr. Dan Peter's DVD's on characteristics of gifted will be shown. Discussion will be led by Sheryl Stoller, Certified SENG parent facilitator (Supporting Emotional Needs of Gifted), and PCI Parent Coach.

Sheryl Stoller, PCI Certified Parent Coach® and SENG Model Parent Groups Facilitator, is founder of Stoller Parent Coaching for parents of children who are “more”, and Beyond Expectations, a trusted resource for parents when children’s abilities, sensibilities and behaviors go beyond. She collaborates with parents, organizations and state planners to customize steps that create lasting positive changes in children's behaviors, motivation and development.
