Chicago Toy & Game Fair

The Chicago Toy & Game Fair returns to Chicago on Navy Pier the same weekend as the Festival of Lights Parade, November 23rd and 24th at Navy Pier in Festival Hall A. Kick off your holiday fun! Come out to preview, play and purchase hot new TOYS and GAMES from around the world.

 

Sampling of events:

 

Young Inventor Challenge (11/23 10a - 2p) – a fantastic opportunity for children ages 6 to 18 to showcase their own original toy & game inventions to toy & game industry professionals, members of media and the general public. The deadline is November 4th!

 

Joan Severance, fashion icon, actress and now game inventor – she invented txTylz! She will be at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair demonstrating her game.

 

Illinois State Yo-Yo Championship (11/23 10a - 4p) - A dynamic performance competition (featuring ladder climbs). Hands-on tips for all skill levels; online and day-of registration available.

 

Star Wars Luncheon (11/23, 12p-1p) - Meet & eat with your favorite Star Wars characters!

 

Special Programming for Scouts (11/23 & 24) - Top Trumps is hosting tournaments for both Girl Scouts (11/23) and Boy Scouts(11/24). Media sensation Debbie Sterling, Founder of GoldieBlox, will be speaking to the Girl Scouts on Saturday November 23rd.

 

Games for Educators - Presentations and demonstrations for educators about fun and engaging ways to incorporate play into the classroom.

 

Meet toy and game inventors of your favorite toys and games as well as new inventors demonstrating and selling what they hope will become classic one day!
