Culturally Different Gifted Students: Social-Emotional and Racial Identity Issues and Needs

This webinar focuses on the social-emotional and psychological experiences and needs of two groups of gifted students – Black and Latino/Hispanic.

Covered topics include:

  • peer pressure
  • self-esteem
  • self-concept
  • racial identity

An overview of issues is provided, along with racial identity theories, strategies, and resources.
