Birds and Plants of Grigsby Prairie (ages 6+)

Join Citizens for Conservation to learn about Illinois prairies
at Citizens for Conservation-owned Grigsby Prairie.

We will meet at CFC headquarters and car pool to Grigsby Prairie.

What mammals live in a prairie? What birds and insects will we find? Why are prairies important? What role does a prairie have regarding our drinking water? How do prairies prevent erosion?

This class is open to children ages 6 and older.
Caregivers are required to attend. A portion of this class is outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. No sandals!  Please use insect spray at home. 

Class size is limited and will fill quickly, so please register early!
COMPLETE REGISTRATION FORMS ARE DUE ONE WEEK
PRIOR TO THIS CLASS.

CFC members are free. Non-members pay $5.00 for the first child and $1.00 for each additional child.
