    Hi Team!

Sometimes what presentations lack is an action item, and I love that you all created a petition!  Activism create change for sure!

Great ideas about how to reduce your climate footprint.  I would suggest you encourage people to assess their carbon footprints.  A great way to know what to change is to know where and how you are emitting carbon and then tackle the biggest hitters.  Below is one potential carbon footprint calculator.

    https://www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.aspx

There are so many ways to reduce your carbon footprint, it can sometimes seem overwhelming to know where to begin.  If people focus on a couple areas to change first before they take on a new change, they might be more willing to do it and stick with it.  You could encourage people to start with one area of their life - food, energy, transportation - to make the changes easier to tackle.

    Well done!

    Thank you,

    Melissa Brice

    Team Cool Earth:

I am charmed! This is just such a lovely public service message -- perfect for appending to a Change.org petition. Simple steps combine to make big changes, and they also create awareness.

I would encourage you as well to engage in advocacy. Since you are already good writers, presenters, and producers, you have the skills needed to write your representatives and newspapers to tell them about your project and to advocate for reduction of fossil fuels at the city, state, and national level.
